Research Task Verbs

Every research task has at least one verb that tells you what you have to do with the information you find. This verb may also help you to decide what graphic organiser, note making format and / or presentation format you might use as you are collecting your information. Use the chart below to help you work out what some of these verbs mean and some possible graphic organisers you can use to take your notes.
