One of the best ways to make your assignments, projects and presentations stand out is to have great images, especially if you are doing a multi-media presentation. Finding the images is usually not a problem, BUT, finding images that you can use without breaking copyright can be difficult. Using Creative Commons images is one way to avoid this problem (and of course you can use your own images as you own the Copyright).
Here is a list of websites that will give you some incredible photographs and images that will help make your assignments stand out. Remember though, even if the images are Creative Commons or Copyright free, you must still reference them. Wikipedia: Public Domain Image Resources A comprehensive gallery of images most of which are free. It is still your responsibility to check permission to use. pxhere These picture are free of copyright under CC0 Australian Pictures in Trove (formerly Picture Australia) Flickr Thousand of images that you can use under the Creative Commons license. Pixabay Find high quality public domain images for your presentations. Freepik Download thousands of free vector and stock photos. Pics4Learning This photo gallery comprises thousands of images that have been donated by teachers and students. Photos and Images This site has a list of 73 websites that have digital photos. Open Clipart A free clipart website. Blue Diamond Gallery Provides a range of free images where words are depicted as dictionary pictures, tablet pictures or wooden tile word pictures. Worth a look. Clker.com The online royalty free public domain clip art. EduPic Graphical Resource Free photographs and graphics for education Public Domain Photos NASA space images. 20 Free Stock Photo Sites Public Domain Pictures Public Domain Pictures.net is a repository for free public domain images.
